Ohio Rep. Paul Gillmor Found Dead Rep. Paul Gillmor, R-Ohio, was found dead in his apartment Wednesday morning, according to news reports. Gillmor's body was found by staff members after he failed to show up for work, the Associated Press reported. The cause of death was not immediately known. Gillmor, 68, was first elected to Congress in 1988. He was the senior Republican member of the financial institutions and consumer credit subcommittee of the House Financial Services Committee.
